Successful funding for new project: Imagining Better Futures of Health and Social Care with and for People with Energy Limiting Chronic Illnesses

We are happy to announce that we have been successful in obtaining funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to continue researching ELCs.  This new project is called Imagining Better Futures of Health and Social Care with and for People with Energy Limiting Chronic Illnesses.

This research follows from our other funded project and involves working with artists and people with ELCs to explore what the future of health and social care might look like to better serve people with ELCs.

For this project, we are recruiting participants who self-identify as having an Energy Liming Chronic Illness (ELCI). ELCs include neurological, musculoskeletal and auto-immune diseases, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia and Long Covid, amongst others. They involve energy impairment and debilitating fatigue that affects every part of people’s lives.

We are currently redesigning our website to accommodate for both projects but please come back here in early September for an updated website and for information on how to take part in the new project. We will also share more details about the project.
