After the data analysis, the team has been busy writing Policy Briefs and identifying target audiences for these. The Policy Briefs intend to capture the key ideas from the data and are illustrated with important direct quotes from research participants. They also offer our recommendations for moving forward. Each brief focuses on a slightly different topic but they share some common trends. We look forward to sharing these when they are complete.
We have also had our first meeting with the Advisory Group. The advisory group is comprised of several people who have lived experience of chronic illness and/or are involved in Organisations such as Chronic Illness Inclusion. This first meeting focused on receiving invaluable feedback from the Advisory Group on the drafts of the Policy Briefs. We also discussed matters of terminology and suggestions for target audiences to disseminate the research with. Working with the Advisory Group has been so important to us because we want to make sure our reading of the data and the things we are sharing in the Policy Reports chime well with the lived experiences of people.
In addition, we have also created an animation which summarises the key findings of this study.
We are also redesigning and updating our website and we will make these resources available here soon, once the new website is ready to launch.
